Litigation Assistant
Mikaela grew up in the small town of Crosby, Minnesota, where she spent a majority of her time competing with her dance team, tennis team, and track and field team. Like a true Minnesotan, she also spent a lot of free time boating or swimming in the local lakes. She moved to Duluth, Minnesota to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology from the University of Minnesota – Duluth. After working various positions in the field of social services and advocacy, she and her husband decided to relocate to Boston, Massachusetts. This is where she obtained her Paralegal Studies certificate from Boston University. While obtaining this certificate, Mikaela discovered her passion for paralegal work and wanted to find an area of law and a law firm that reflected her love of helping people. Shortly after relocating back to Minnesota, she was offered a position as a Litigation Assistant with NGRV and happily accepted.
Mikaela is very excited to work at NGRV because it is evident how deeply the team cares for the clients they serve. She is honored to be able to work alongside a team full of dedicated, hardworking professionals. She loves being able to learn about the legal field and medical field, while also being able to interact with clients on a daily basis and help make a difference.
In her free time, Mikaela enjoys running, dancing, mountain biking, and spending time with her husband, family, and cat.
