Mayna Thor

Mayna Thor is a passionate, client-focused advocate dedicated to serving unheard voices and guiding individuals through the complexities of litigation. Prior to joining Nigh Goldenberg Rasor & Veith, Mayna served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Judge Der Yang in the Second Judicial District of Ramsey County, Minnesota. Her time inside the judicial system gave her invaluable insight into court operations, which she uses to build effective strategies and clear pathways forward for her clients.

As a first-generation attorney, Mayna’s firsthand experiences with discrimination drive her commitment to leveling the playing field. She acts as a fierce, compassionate ally for clients who feel intimidated by complex legal procedures or powerful corporate opponents, maintaining a steadfast focus on holding corporate actors accountable for harm caused by unsafe products.

Born and raised in Little Canada, Minnesota, Mayna maintains strong roots in the Twin Cities and regularly volunteers to give back to her local community. Had she not pursued her legal career, she would have followed her artistic passion as a comic book artist or animator.
