The AngioDynamics MDL was formed in October 2024 to consolidate claims alleging that defective port catheters—including BioFlo, Vortex, and Navilyst PowerPort devices—caused serious injuries such as infection, catheter fracture, and thrombosis.
As of January 2026, there are approximately 300 AngioDynamics lawsuits pending in MDL 3125 before the Honorable Jinsook Ohta in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
