Rachel Kealaonapua Rodriquez

Rachel Kealaonapua Rodriquez was born and raised in Hawaii, on the island of O’ahu. Rachel grew up immersed in Hawaiian culture and language, and spent much of her childhood dancing hula and swimming competitively. Rachel’s family has a tropical flower farm in Hana, Maui and Rachel spent  summers enjoying the flower farm life in Hana.  Rachel attended Pepperdine University in California where she continued swimming, dancing hula and studied abroad in Florence, Italy. In 2018 she graduated from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and an emphasis on Ethnic Studies.

After graduation, Rachel attended law school at Golden Gate University in San Francisco. She moved to Arizona to be a litigation clerk for the Pima County Attorney’s Office and subsequently transferred to Mitchell Hamline School of Law. She joined NGRV as a mass torts law clerk, focusing her efforts on litigations that affect populations of color such as MDL 3060 In re: Hair Relaxer, and the Maui Fire litigation. She will graduate in May 2024. She is excited to learn and grow in mass torts law.

Rachel loves being able to work on issues she is passionate about and the privilege to connect with clients personally through their stories and experiences. Rachel holds a strong belief that the law is powerful and can be used for positive change. Working in mass torts provides Rachel with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on others’ lives.

In Rachel’s free time she enjoys checking out new restaurants, gardening and houseplants, and spending time with her family and pups, Anela and Beau.
